Let me introduce myself!

My name is Tammy Lash and welcome to Renovating Spaces! Dedicated wife of Mark Lash, mother of Mindy and Ryan.

 

  My passion is kitchens, bathrooms,home and business design!  Design and kitchen cabinets, counter tops and paint and lighting, have always been a passion of mine since a very young age.  I thoroughly enjoy helping my clients and giving them their dream spaces! I have a cabinet showroom just south of the St. Elmo, IL and sell many lines of cabinet for your kitchen, office or bathroom.  I completely remodel homes and businesses just like on TV! I have been called the "Joanna Gaines" of Fayette County by several of my local customers!  I do all inclusive designs to make it as stress free as possible for by clients!  I know my way around constructions, cabinets and design.  It's my passion! From a little girl, I was talking about bathrooms, looking at design magazines with my sister Jane and collecting paint samples from a very young age...it's in my blood!  

I have an instant feeling from my clients and their homes or business the moment I walk in and can quickly visualize what and how their home or business need and wants to feel!  I can pull together the entire look just like the TV shows.  Follow me on my Facebook page at Renovating Spaces to watch  for my projects. 

 

I also love helping businesses to grow through renovating their space to work better for their clients and staff.  I have a knack for having a critical eye to instantly see how business may not be using their space or their storefront to gain customers, have a great workflow, or to make sure their business is being seen in a way to help them grow!

My story starts by designing set designs for the local high school plays, designing weddings and receptions at my other past business Summer Breeze barn venue. I have also purchased and completely remodeling 2 homes and sold them. I still love to remodel homes and hire out for complete home remodeling and design. I worked 10 years as a carpenter in my husband's company Lash Construction and helped physically build homes and work in the construction industry. I understand the building and remodeling process completely which helps greatly in knowing how to redesign kitchens and baths. I have had my kitchen showroom since 1994 and just completed a complete remodel with all new displays!
